Letrice Mason is the caring and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who created the Essential Body Bar Organic Day Spa with her clients in mind. Using her Bachelor's in Nursing from Baylor University and Masters in Nursing from the University of Texas in Tyler, she has devoted her career to women’s wellness at every stage in life. She is a firm believer that emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness can truly be life-changing, and strives to provide this through her career.

Adrienne Brown, MA, LPC

Adrienne Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in sex therapy, and a two time graduate of Prairie View A&M University. Adrienne possesses a deep passion for helping individuals maintain a healthy and positive well being related to mental and sexual health. She believes that education and counseling assist in bridging the gap and diminishing the taboo behind freely expressing and seeking help with concerns related to sex, sexuality and mental health. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with her family, cooking, traveling, and engaging in self-care rituals.

KaTina M. Poe, APRN, CNM

KaTina Poe is a proud native of Meridian, Mississippi, but was raised in Nashville, Tennessee where she later earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing with a clinical concentration in Midwifery from Vanderbilt University. Kierra Goosby

Kierra Goosby currently serves as the Agriculture Specialist for the 7th largest school district in the country where she designs and manages small gardens and farms. While earning her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, she fostered her interest in agriculture by volunteering on an urban farm to provide organic produce to food desert residents. Following her passion to alleviate food insecurity, she accepted a role as the farm’s Site Manager to sell affordable produce and develop the farm’s crop rotations. Her zeal for agricultural systems and nutrition education stems from her desire to reshape her community’s relationship with food. Impassioned by her fascination with plant sciences, Kierra shares her intrigue with the natural world with others by developing gardens and providing access to whole foods. Her hobbies include boxing, reading, and volunteering on local farms. 

Elexis Mitchell, APRN

Elexis Mitchell is a Family Nurse Practitioner whose background includes cardiology, perioperative, ICU, and holistic medicine. She started her nursing career as a nurse's assistant in high school, worked as a Registered Nurse for 6 years, and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for 2 1/2 years. Elexis' gratification in life comes from her dedication to treating patients holistically while being of service to mankind. Her hobbies include traveling, yoga, art, and music.

Courtanie Sanders

Executive Director

Courtanie Sanders is a multi-disciplined professional with over 10 years of media communications and public relations experience, coupled with experience providing high level operations and project management for C-level executives in running their organizations. Hailing from New York City, Courtanie holds her Bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Business Administration. Her extensive background in public relations and media communications landed her a career working for major television network companies such as MTV, VH1, Bravo, ABC, and CNBC.  Currently, she works in business operations for a financial services company. Courtanie spent several years in real estate operations working for various real estate investment, development and brokerage firms. She is a licensed real estate salesperson and a member of various many real estate associations, including the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the Real Estate Investors Association (REIA) and served on the board of non-profit organization Council of Urban Real Estate (CURE), as the Vice-Chair of Communications.  Courtanie spends her free time traveling, and developing business ideas for blossoming entrepreneurs. 

Elizabeth Miller​, MBA


Elizabeth Miller is currently a Business Analyst for Aluma Systems, where she analysis every aspect of operations and makes recommendations based upon best practices. Elizabeth attended the University of Houston-Downtown, where she obtained a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Bachelor’s in Finance, and later her Master’s in Business Administration. She has worked in the finance realm for over 7 years, with experience ranging from the insurance industry, private entities, to construction currently.  She has started and worked with multiple non-profits, all for different causes. Helping others has always been a great pleasure of hers, so she utilizes her knowledge and experience to help further those causes.
